1. The An Teallach Ridge - Challenging route on an exposed ridge with many towers negotiated by scrambling and abseils. Mountaineering experience a must.
2. The Mullach Coire Massif - remote setting for a long route over multiple tops. A river crossing early on in the circuit may at times prove difficult.
3. Lochans of Beinn Ghobhlach - Relatively short walk along the loch shore to reach a quiet peak with water all around.
4. Fisherfield Forest - Varied route in remote country. A long trek in to climb Beinn Dearg Mor and two other peaks, with some steep and exposed sections.
5. Peaks of Flowerdale - Entertaining circuit of Beinn an Eoin and Baosbheinn. This includes steep sections, particularly in descent, and some tricky route finding.
6. Dark Lochs of Letterewe - An extended trek over Ruadh Stac Mor and A Mhaighdean, Britain's remotest hills. The long approach makes this an ideal two-day walk.
7. Meall a'Ghiubhais by the mountain trail - Short, step route in the Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve, with excellent access paths and views of the Torridonian peaks.
8. Slioch - Popular mountain horseshoe, with a gentle approach and return along the river. Good paths and one section of awkward descent.
